Guidelines for Parenting Children When Parents are Apart

John C. Simoneaux, Ph.D. will explain the effects of conflict, intimate partner violence, and unwitting psychological control of children, which usually begins before legal actions are taken, but extends through the long process of litigation and proposed resolutions. Laws relevant to child custody, visitation, relocation, non-parent custody / visitation, etc. will be explained. Participants will become well-versed in mistakes that are made by parents, therapists, attorneys, and others and provided with interventions minimizing the harm to children associated with parental conflict.

Free attendance, breakfast, and lunch. $60 fee if you wish to receive 6 CE / MCLE credits.
